Jan’s Cambridge Examinations colleague from New Zealand, Mo Killip, has been staying with us for a few days while Jan’s been running meetings in Sydney.
Among other things (cat lover, raconteur etc) Mo’s a vegetarian. Jan’s been extending her vegetarian cooking repertoire. I had to suppress my natural manly meat desires for a while, but we did have some very good food.
Pictured is a dish of a huge cauliflower covered with nuts, cheese and other stuff, gently scorched with a welding torch. It was accompanied by a tomato and ricotta tart on flaky pastry.
It would have gone well with a couple of sausages.

John, are you hoping the veggies will fall off the plate and photo? Or is this a way to link the veggies with your aerobatic flying.
As always, just hoping for some bacon.
