Wednesday brought a fine spring day and some good thermals. I couldn’t get the best glider – DG303 – too many people there. But I flew the Astir, which is OK. The DG is not allowed to do aerobatics, but the Astir is, so I managed a few loops and chandelles.
The thermals were a bit hard to work at times, but I floated around at 4,500 feet for a couple of hours, that was plenty for me.
