Boxing Day dawned a cool drizzly day, but the weather was not bad enough to keep us inside for breakfast. The terrace was sheltered from the rain and the view was still good. After, I spotted dophins close to the beach. There were lots of them – 20 or so I guess, in two groups. They patrolled the length of Killcare beach, a couple of them leaping into the air a little like whales breaching.
After the rain stopped, Jan and I braved the grey skies and grim seas for a swim. Brrr! It was cold again but very enjoyable once you got used to the initial chill. Don’t mention the cricket!
Update: The dolphins were a bit too far away for a decent picture so you can have some of us instead taken by Chris with his new underwater camera. The sun came out so we frolicked in the pool.
