We’re in Canberra staying with Chris and Ray Sloane. Cold but clear weather – there was frost on the car this morning!

We went to the War Memorial and had a lovely time looking at lots of old aeroplanes and tanks and similar things. The Lancaster G-George display was splendid.
Then we popped up to the Telstra tower on Black mountain to have a look at the city from 850 meters above sea level.
